Our client is looking for a Data Analyst for a temporary three month contract. In this role, you will enhance reporting efficiency by improving Excel and Power BI reports that consolidate data from multiple systems, including Ivalua, SAP, and ServiceNow. The successful candidate will create visually engaging, actionable reports that support informed, data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing reports and data to understand the current state
- Consult with report owners and users to define reporting requirements
- Collaborate with Procurement System Support to extract data from source systems
- Develop dynamic Excel and Power BI reports based on user needs
- Create user guides for self-serve reporting where possible
- Conduct knowledge transfer to Procurement System Support for report maintenance
Success in this role will be measured by the accuracy, usability, and visual appeal of reports and dashboards, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience working with large data sets and consolidating multiple data sources
- Ability to interpret end-user reporting needs and manipulate source data accordingly
- Technical proficiency in:
- Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros)
- Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization best practices)
- SQL for querying relational databases
