Job Statement
Reporting to the Manager of the Registered Plans Team, the Transition Administrator will provide high-quality customer service by managing all aspects of onboarding new advisors. This highly motivated and energetic professional ensures that all requests and inquiries from advisors, clients, and head office are handled promptly and accurately, adhering to established service levels. Strong communication skills in both English and French are required, along with a commitment to maintaining a positive customer experience.
Essential Functions
- Client Request Processing: Efficiently handle client requests and transactions related to all types of registered products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Expertise in Registered Products Administration: Utilize in-depth knowledge of registered products (e.g., RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs, RRIFs) for accurate administration, including account setups and ongoing maintenance.
- RESP and RRIF Account Management: Facilitate the creation and management of RESP and RRIF accounts, ensuring accurate setup and compliance with payout requirements for minimum distributions.
- Recurring Event Administration: Set up, manage, and provide ongoing support for recurring financial events such as Pre-Authorized Contributions (PACs) and Systematic Withdrawal Plans (SWIPs).
- Control Account Reconciliation and Report Management: Regularly reconcile control accounts to ensure accurate balances and promptly address discrepancies. Manage assigned reports by preparing, reviewing, and maintaining documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Client Service Support: Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries regarding registered products, providing clear and actionable guidance.
- Process Improvement and Product Enhancement: Actively identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to optimize processes. Collaborate on the development and enhancement of products and services to better meet client expectations and regulatory demands.
- Perform Additional Duties as Assigned: Support a positive customer experience and uphold service standards within operations and business development.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education.
- Minimum of 1 year of registered product administrative experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of client tax reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Dataphile is an asset.
