Key Responsibilities
Provide timely customer service and assist with inside sales/application engineering inquiries via email, phone, and in-person communication.
Coordinate with sales representatives, customers, planning, and manufacturing teams to meet requirements for long-term blanket programs and agreements.
Submit and process orders with accuracy and efficiency.
Enter orders for Inside Sales parts, send order acknowledgments, and track, expedite, and monitor orders to meet customer timelines.
Monitor order activity from the warehouse and communicate potential issues in daily production meetings.
Provide product availability, schedules, pricing, and delivery timelines within established guidelines.
Work closely with Production to ensure accurate lead times and delivery schedules.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to communicate scheduling changes during the order life cycle.
Liaise with finance to ensure timely invoicing and payments.
Perform additional related tasks as assigned by the Manager.
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of business experience, ideally in Inside Sales, order entry, quotations, or sales tenders.
Technical certificate or diploma in Business Administration (2–3 years) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working with JD Edwards software is a strong asset.
Basic understanding of electrical terminology and distribution systems.
Previous experience in customer service and/or a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to build effective relationships.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to collaborate with internal departments including Production, Engineering, and Finance.
