Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with an organization in the broader public sector to support a short-term initiative focused on developing and implementing Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys flexible remote work, delivering high-impact analytics/AI tools, and collaborating with a small but rapidly growing internal team.
The position will work closely with a team coordinator and key business stakeholders to gather requirements, support LLM solution design, and guide technical implementation. You will also help mentor two part-time team members on technical skills and contribute to expanding the team’s BI/AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with team coordinator and stakeholders to gather requirements and scope technical needs for LLM-related solutions.
Participate in the setup, development, and optimization of Large Language Model workflows and tools.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to part-time team members.
Contribute to development of in-house BI tools and analytics solutions supporting business operations.
Work remotely and flexibly with a distributed team.
Support smooth project delivery within a 1–3 month timeframe, with potential for additional future engagements.
Coordinate with the hiring manager on technology access/setup as required to begin work.
Qualifications
5–6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with BI tools, data workflows, and technical problem-solving.
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) or willingness to learn quickly.
Strong communication skills for working with stakeholders and internal team members.
Ability to work independently in a flexible, fully remote environment.
Based in Canada, preferably in BC, though candidates from other provinces will be considered.
