Altis Technology is actively seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a dynamic team supporting a critical project in the government services sector. This role requires a highly skilled developer with expertise in Java and JavaScript, a foundation in UX design, and experience in deploying development tools. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications to support project requirements.
  • Utilize JavaScript and relational databases to develop robust backend and frontend solutions.
  • Produce effective UX design using HTML and CSS to create seamless user experiences.
  • Deploy and manage applications in an Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
  • Use build automation tools, including Ivy, Maven, and/or Gradle, to streamline the development process.
  • Work with GraphQL and JSON to optimize API communications.

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development
  • 5+ years within the last 8 years working with Java and JavaScript
  • 3+ years of UX design experience using HTML/CSS
  • Experience deploying applications within IDEs
  • Familiarity with build automation tools (e.g., Ivy, Maven, Gradle)
  • Proficiency with GraphQL and JSON
