This field-based role requires relocation to the Sumas area or a commutable distance. You’ll build relationships with landowners, resolve land use issues, and support regulatory compliance across a key energy corridor. Total rewards: $118000.00 - $139000.00 annually Vehicle provided. A typical day: Build and maintain relationships with landowners and land users. Negotiate land access, resolve claims, and manage concerns. Monitor land use changes and mitigate encroachments. Support project delivery through land rights acquisition. Liaise with government authorities and stakeholders. Provide advisory services on land use and permitting. Deliver public awareness and damage prevention materials. Investigate tenure information and communicate findings. Successful candidates will have: Degree or diploma in land, commerce, or urban economics, or 10+ years of experience. Valid provincial driver’s license. Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of CER, BCER, AER, and municipal permitting processes. Experience with Indigenous lands and proximity permit issues. Proficient in Microsoft Office and land management databases. Ability to travel regularly and work flexible hours. Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
