Agilus is recruiting for a Branch Manager in the Energy Services Sector in Valleyview, Alberta. A recognized leader in the energy services sector is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee full-cycle operations at our Valleyview branch. This full-service provider specializes in E&I maintenance, renewables/solar, major projects, combustion & emissions reduction, and measurement. We are looking for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about team development, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. A typical day: Oversee daily operations and scheduling of field employees to ensure optimal productivity. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, resolving issues promptly and professionally. Lead recruitment efforts including resume reviews, interviews, and hiring decisions. Conduct annual performance reviews and recommend promotions and compensation adjustments. Mentor and support apprentices and Journeymen to foster professional growth. Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Estimating, Finance, and HR. Monitor budgets, project costs, and branch financial objectives in coordination with the CFO. Promote and uphold company culture and safety standards through active leadership and engagement. Successful candidates will have: 5–10 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician or Instrument Technician. 2–5 years of management experience in a similar industry or informal leadership. Proven leadership and team-building capabilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiarity with safety protocols.
