We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to work with a Crown Corporation in Ottawa. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor member institutions’ compliance with regulatory and internal by-laws and policies.

• Administer differential premiums and related systems in compliance with internal and audit standards.

• Develop, maintain, and update procedures, guidance, and supporting documentation for insurance processes.

• Review and manage agreements and submissions from member institutions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Collaborate with management on product eligibility assessments and insurance-related inquiries.

• Prepare reports and analyses on compliance measures, trends, and initiatives.

• Maintain accurate data in relevant databases and support system testing and updates.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized university.

• 2–3 years of experience in compliance, audit, or financial analysis, preferably in the financial services sector.

• Experience designing, implementing, or following established process documentation.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database management.

• Excellent organizational, research, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Ability to work independently and exercise strong judgment and discretion.

• Eligibility for security clearance.

Preferred/Asset Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and French (verbal and written).

• Experience collaborating with internal or external auditors.

• Experience in financial reporting or financial analysis.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
