The government needs a Senior Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Analyst and Developer to help manage a temporary increase in work related to financial automation. The role supports efforts to modernize and digitize financial processes through tools like RPA and Artificial Intelligence. The specialist will provide advice, assess automation opportunities, analyze return on investment, and develop automation solutions. They will also build on past RPA projects, identify new opportunities, and guide leadership on how RPA can improve financial operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assess and Prioritize Processes: Review identified processes to evaluate feasibility, effort, return on investment, and recommend priorities.

  • Develop Automations: Design and build automation solutions from initial intake to deployment, including conducting workshops, documenting process requirements (PDD), and designing technical solutions (SDD).

  • Validate and Approve Designs: Work with clients to review, validate, and obtain approval for both PDD and SDD documents to ensure solutions meet business and technical needs.

  • Deploy and Support Implementations: Provide advice and troubleshooting during deployment, guide change management and training efforts, and ensure automations align with design documents during testing.

  • Monitor and Advise Post-Deployment: Track automation progress, report weekly updates, analyze deployed automations, develop performance metrics, and share best practices with team members.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2 years experience within the last 5 years developing RPA using UiPath software
  • 2 years of relevant experience within the past 5 years leading/ contributing to the automation of SAP business processes within a federal government department or agency
