Agilus is recruiting for a CC&B Developer in the Utilities space in a hybrid work environment in Markham, Ontario.
Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) Developer to join their team for a project focused on enhancing and expanding features within their existing CC&B platform. The current environment runs on Oracle CC&B version 2.3, hosted on Oracle 11g, and supports a range of critical utility operations. The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and technical teams to design, develop, and implement new functionality that improves system performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement new feature enhancements and system integrations for the CC&B 2.3 platform.
Customize and configure CC&B objects (business objects, zones, scripts, plug-ins, and algorithms).
Write, debug, and optimize code using Java, Groovy, and SQL/PL-SQL.
Collaborate with business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Support testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution within the CC&B and Oracle environments.
Prepare technical documentation and contribute to release planning and deployment activities.
Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle CC&B (Customer Care & Billing) development and configuration.
Experience working on CC&B 2.3 (or similar versions) with Oracle 11g as the backend database.
Strong proficiency in Java, Groovy scripting, and PL/SQL.
Solid understanding of CC&B object modeling, including Business Objects, Business Services, and Plug-in Scripts.
Experience with Feature Configuration (FC) and Algorithm Spot customization.
Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
Experience integrating CC&B with external systems using web services or middleware.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
