Agilus is recruiting for a UI/UX Designer & Developer in the Software Development Industry in a hybrid work environment in London, Ontario.
We are seeking a UI/UX Designer & Full Stack Developer to join our London, Ontario team. This hybrid role blends creativity and technical expertise—designing intuitive, visually engaging user experiences while also developing and supporting the systems that bring them to life.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into user-friendly, visually compelling designs.
Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes; iterate designs based on stakeholder and client feedback.
Create responsive HTML/CSS layouts and prototypes, improving existing designs for multi-device optimization.
Build and maintain full-stack solutions using technologies such as JavaScript frameworks, PHP, and .NET.
Create and refine UI elements, icons, templates, and graphical assets to support web and application projects.
Support marketing initiatives through CMS tools (e.g., WordPress), including design and implementation.
Develop troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and training materials for end users.
Train clients and team members on new features, workflows, and system functionality.
Requirements:
3+ years of UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing web-based, responsive design work.
Strong visual design skills with attention to layout, typography, color, and consistency.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar design tools.
Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
Solid understanding of responsive design principles across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar).
Knowledge of programming environments and languages: PHP, .NET (C#), JavaScript.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to work independently and in team settings.
Further additional qualifications:
Experience designing for business applications or enterprise solutions.
Technical support experience with email/phone-based troubleshooting.
Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
Experience with Jira or similar ticketing systems.
Comfort with training, presenting, or client-facing demos.
Print and digital design skills (Adobe InDesign).
Ability to communicate design strategy and explain the thinking behind decisions.
A creative, problem-solving mindset with curiosity to explore new technologies and approaches.
