Agilus is recruiting for a QA Analyst & Process Integration Specialist in the Software Development Industry in a hybrid work environment in London, Ontario.
We are seeking a QA Analyst to join our London, Ontario team. This role combines hands-on quality assurance, process improvement, and systems integration to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers, QA leads, architects, and developers to understand business, functional, and technical requirements.
Lead and participate in QA activities, including test planning, execution, and reporting, while continuously improving QA procedures.
Develop, document, and maintain QA plans, test cases, and training/procedures in collaboration with local and global stakeholders.
Introduce and implement automated testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
Verify, document, and track software issues, coordinating fixes and retesting to ensure resolution.
Provide training, guidance, and support on new tools, systems, and processes.
Maintain a current global project roadmap to track priorities and initiatives.
Utilize issue-tracking and test case management tools to ensure QA and automation tasks are tracked, executed, and verified.
Requirements:
5+ years managing QA/software testing projects, including test plans, incident reports, and results analysis.
5+ years hands-on QA experience across component, integration, system, and acceptance testing (functional, usability, regression).
Experience writing automated test scripts.
Knowledge of programming environments/languages such as Microsoft .NET (C#) and JavaScript.
Proficiency with QA/testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, API testing tools).
Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Familiarity with automated testing pipelines and CI/CD practices.
Solid understanding of web-based application architectures, browser developer tools, and cross-browser testing strategies.
Further additional qualifications:
Basic SQL skills for backend data validation.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience gathering and documenting requirements with stakeholders.
Exposure to full-stack web development and debugging (frontend and backend).
Curiosity and openness to learn, with a drive to adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
