About This Role

                                                                                                         

CAE is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst III to support its Business Aviation Training division. This individual contributor role focuses on operational finance, with responsibilities across budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for global training centers.

The ideal candidate has:

  • 6–8 years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Accounting experience preferred (degree or relevant work history)
  • Strong communication skills to engage with non-finance stakeholders
  • High energy, maturity, and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion, and HFM is a plus

Location: Dallas, TX or Montreal (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Role Type: Individual Contributor

This role supports strategic financial planning and consolidates financial data across regions, helping deliver insights into business performance and cost management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Forecast, review, and report financials with variance analysis
  • Ensure financial reports comply with IFRS standards
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Anticipate and address questions from business partners
  • Drive process improvements and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Analyze financial data to assess business health
  • Maintain financial models for accurate projections
  • Prepare and present reports for leadership
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify gaps to financial targets
  • Support system enhancements (HFM, Oracle, Hyperion)
  • Lead ad hoc projects to improve performance and understand business drivers
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the FP&A Manager
