Project Coordinator
Onsite – Ottawa | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Full-time, Permanent
Join a growing, construction and development firm as a Project Coordinator to support our busy project management team and gain hands-on experience in every stage of the construction process.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll assist with project coordination, documentation, and scheduling, while liaising with site supervisors, contractors, and internal teams. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to learn the ins and outs of project delivery in a collaborative, supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
Support Project Managers with project documentation, budgeting, contracts, and scheduling.
Assist in reviewing and preparing plans and construction documents.
Liaise with site supervisors, contractors, and vendors to keep projects on track.
Help monitor project progress, timelines, and cost estimates.
Occasionally visit job sites or deliver plans (vehicle required; mileage reimbursed).
Perform general administrative tasks to support the project team.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in construction, architecture, or engineering—or a recent graduate eager to learn.
Post-secondary education in Architectural Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings; familiarity with the Ontario Building Code is an asset.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera; proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional site visits.
