Our federal government client is requesting a Project Mangaer to support Joint Readiness Exercises and Delivery, Joint Readiness Authority and Lessons Learned on a 2 year contract. 

Tasks: 
- Research, identify, develop, and suggest procedures that will serve to capture and consolidate key successes and failings of exercise and training events;
- Identify, research, develop and suggest implementation of policies and procedures that will allow for a more efficient assessment of operations and exercises to aid in the validation of activities and confirmation of Joint Readiness;
- Assist and conduct the research and consolidation of observations from existing operations and past exercises. Analyse observations and lessons to aid in the sharing of lessons learned between military operations and development of new military exercise criteria;
- Prepare lessons learned consolidated reports in writing and brief key consolidated observations for lessons learned activities to senior officers;
- Develop and deliver lessons learned best practices in an educative manner to a community of practice through formal lectures at collective training conferences and working groups;
- Review documents on current and emerging issues, including briefing materials, position papers, speaking points, policy research and presentations for consistency 
- Provide LL advice, expertise and support to all J3 and J5 staff in the conduct of BR events, JOPGs, various Reports and Returns and any other KLE activities;
- Gather, compile and consolidate all relevant data for past, present and potential future operations. Capture pertinent data in the dedicated LL application from existing Post Exercise Reports (PXRs), End Tour Reports, Recce Reports, Lesson Finding Reports and any other available observations/information;
- Research, identify, develop, and suggest procedures that will serve to capture and consolidate key successes and failings of exercise and training events;

Experience and Qualifications:

  • University Engineering Degree 
  • 3 years of experience joint training, operations or exercise environment for any federal government department, in the planning, development and execution of Field training manoeuvres or operations; or Multiple headquarters’ training events
  • Secret Clearance
