About the Project
Our client, a leading organization in the broadcasting industry, is undergoing a major ERP transformation, implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud to modernize sourcing, procurement, contracting, and supplier management processes.
The Cutover and Hypercare Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all cutover activities, ensuring a seamless transition into Hypercare support following Go-Live. This role will collaborate closely with the Program Management Office (PMO), Functional Leads, Technical Teams, Business Stakeholders, and Organizational Change Management (OCM) to deliver a smooth migration from SAP to Oracle Fusion ERP.
Key Responsibilities
Cutover Planning & Execution
Develop and own the overall Cutover Strategy, aligned with project timelines, testing outcomes, and business readiness milestones.
Coordinate with functional and technical teams to identify, sequence, and track all cutover tasks, including data and configuration migration, user provisioning, and validation.
Prepare and maintain a detailed Cutover Runbook and lead mock cutover rehearsals and readiness assessments.
Manage the Cutover Command Center during Go-Live to oversee execution and ensure timely issue resolution.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Integration, and Data Migration teams to validate system and interface readiness.
Hypercare Management
Lead Go-Live Command Center operations from a project perspective, managing communications, escalations, and decisions.
Develop and implement a Hypercare Governance Framework and Support Plan, including issue triage, escalation processes, and performance monitoring.
Communicate and align the Hypercare plan with project stakeholders, defining clear roles and responsibilities.
Establish and oversee Hypercare governance cadence (e.g., daily standups, SLA tracking, issue dashboards).
Ensure a smooth transition from Hypercare to steady-state operations.
Document lessons learned, root-cause analyses, and stabilization reports for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
Act as the single point of contact for all cutover and hypercare activities.
Partner with the OCM team to socialize and deliver elements of the Hypercare Support Plan.
Provide clear progress reporting to the PMO and Business Sponsors.
Ensure alignment with external system owners (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, custom broadcast applications) on dependencies.
Communicate system availability, downtime, and post-Go-Live support information to end users.
Governance & Quality Assurance
Lead readiness checkpoints and Go/No-Go reviews with project and executive leadership.
Identify and mitigate cutover and post-Go-Live risks and dependencies.
Define and track success metrics for cutover and hypercare performance.
Maintain compliance with internal audit, IT security, and data governance standards.
Participate in risk and issue management processes.
Qualifications
Must-Haves
10+ years of ERP program experience, including 3–5 full lifecycle cutovers for Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, or equivalent systems.
Proven success leading cutover and hypercare phases in large, complex, multi-stream ERP programs.
Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP modules, including Supply Chain Management (SCM), Finance, Project Management, Capital Assets, and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).
Experience working with complex integration environments (Salesforce, Workday, custom applications).
Exceptional coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills across technical and business domains.
Proficiency with project planning tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet.
