Associate, Transformation Strategy (6-Month Contract)

We’re assisting our client, a global financial services leader, in the search for an Associate, Transformation Strategy to support a high-priority strategic initiative within the Canadian business.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a consultant or strategist with experience driving transformation programs, operating model design, or cross-functional alignment.
About the Role
As part of the strategy and transformation team, you’ll help advance an enterprise-level initiative focused on aligning Canadian operations with global priorities. You’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across Canada and the U.S., synthesize complex information into clear recommendations, and support executive-level decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Support strategic planning and transformation workstreams by structuring and tracking progress across multiple initiatives.
Conduct research, analysis, and synthesis to inform business cases, operating model options, and roadmap recommendations.
Prepare executive-ready presentations and summaries that distill complex topics into concise insights.
Partner with cross-functional and cross-border teams to ensure strategic alignment.
Collaborate with external consulting partners, coordinating deliverables and ensuring integration of workstreams.
Contribute to change management and communication efforts that enable successful implementation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
7–10 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or business transformation, ideally within a Big 4 or Tier-2 consulting firm.
Exposure to operating model design, strategic planning, or organizational transformation.
Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, able to convey insights to senior stakeholders.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills; comfortable working in evolving, ambiguous environments.
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is an asset.
