About the Role
The Sales Support Professional plays a key role in supporting our clients parts and services proposal team, ensuring efficient sales operations, order management, and customer support across Canada. This role bridges coordination between account managers, inside sales, and back-office operations while maintaining high accuracy in order processing and compliance.
The position also involves collaboration with UK and US affiliates for parts purchasing, import/export coordination, and adherence to complex industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and process customer orders and revisions.
Verify order details for accuracy and completeness with all internal and external stakeholders.
Create and manage sales and purchase orders in SAP ERP and Salesforce CRM.
Ensure timely shipment, billing, and order fulfillment.
Collaborate with factories and product/marketing teams to resolve technical or configuration issues.
Support sales operations through data management, reporting, and compliance tracking.
Contribute to proposal preparation, pricing, and bid management.
Maintain accuracy in documentation and transaction quality.
Participate in weekly team meetings to review sales funnel and order pipeline.
Candidate Profile
3–5 years of experience in sales operations, order management, or administrative support, ideally within manufacturing, power generation, or energy sectors.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in SAP ERP, Salesforce CRM, and MS Office Suite.
Background in finance, commercial operations, or technical sales considered an asset.
Excellent communication skills.
