Our client, a respected non-profit in the real estate sector, is hiring a Manager, Education & Events for a 1-year maternity leave contract. They are Canada’s leading national association representing the commercial and investment real estate sector. With 30+ member organizations, including top REITs, pension funds, and investment firms, they drive advocacy, public policy, education, and leadership initiatives across the country. The successful candidate will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of the organization's virtual education programs and member events. This includes managing their programs, webinars, summits, and virtual panels. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about education, stakeholder engagement, and delivering high-quality virtual and in-person experiences.
This is a maternity-leave contract based in Downtown Toronto, operating on a hybrid model requiring two on-site days per week. The term is 12 to 13 months, with the contract expected to conclude at the end of that period, and includes a $10,000 CAD completion bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver virtual learning programs, including the RPIC and professional development courses
- Manage logistics using Zoom, D2L (LMS), and other platforms
- Collaborate with instructors and guest speakers
- Oversee scheduling, enrollment, performance tracking, and payments
- Conduct market research and provide insights to leadership
- Plan and execute summits, webinars, and member events
- Coordinate speakers, manage end-to-end logistics, and handle post-event follow-ups
- Use tools like Zoom Webinar, EventMobi, Wicket, and Tableau
- Support sponsorships and event marketing efforts
