Your Responsibilities
- You will review and negotiate construction, service, maintenance, and refurbishment contracts, ensuring compliance with internal requirements and industry regulations.
- You will identify and mitigate contractual risks by partnering closely with legal and project management teams.
- You will build strong working relationships with contractors, subcontractors, property managers, and clients as a central point of contact.
- You will collaborate with project managers, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless execution of contract terms.
- You will maintain organized documentation and prepare regular contract updates and reports for senior leaders.
- You will support dispute resolution efforts by coordinating with legal resources when needed.
- You will provide general administrative support to the contracts and legal department.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in contract management or administration, ideally within the construction sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, law, business, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex legal and contractual language.
- Strong negotiation skills, communication abilities, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience supporting Canada–U.S. construction projects is an asset.
- Professional certifications in contract management or compliance are preferred.
