Now Hiring: Seasonal Customer Service Representatives (Remote | Training in Toronto)
Location: Toronto, ON (Remote role with in-person training in North York)
Start Date: October 14th
Type: Contract (with potential for extension)
Pay Rate: $21.90/hour
Schedule: Part-time (24 hrs/week) ramping up to Full-time (37.5 hrs/week by mid-November)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global company in the beauty and cosmetics industry for multiple Customer Service Representative roles. This is an exciting seasonal contract opportunity supporting a major online retail operation, with the potential for contract extension based on business needs and performance.
Key Details:
Remote Work: This is a work-from-home position, with one week of in-person training in North York (near York University). Parking and public transit access available.
Equipment Provided: Equipment will be issued on-site and brought home for remote work.
Training: 1-week of in-person training (6-hour days). May be extended slightly depending on needs.
Work Hours: Start with 24 hrs/week and increase to 37.5 hrs/week by mid-November.
Regular hours: Mon–Fri 9am–9pm, Sat/Sun 10am–6pm
Extended holiday hours may apply: Mon–Fri 8am–10pm, Sat/Sun 9am–7pm (late Nov–Dec)
Blackout Period: Availability is required during key retail dates including Black Friday (Nov 27–Dec 2), Boxing Day (Dec 26), New Year’s Eve (Dec 31), and New Year’s Day (Jan 1).
Holiday Closure: Closed December 25.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service through multiple channels: phone, email, and chat.
Handle mostly inbound communications, with occasional outbound follow-ups.
Accurately log interactions, resolve inquiries, and provide timely updates.
Represent a portfolio of well-known beauty brands within the Canadian market.
Maintain professionalism and empathy, especially during peak periods.
What We’re Looking For:
Prior customer service experience - retail or call centre preferred.
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Comfortable learning and navigating multiple systems and tools.
Open availability during peak holiday periods.
- Bilingualism is an asset (additional compensation may apply for bilingual candidates).
