Altis is proud to be assisting our client, a well-established organization currently undergoing a major financial systems transformation, in their search for a Payables Testing Analyst to support their upcoming SAP B1 implementation. This is a contract opportunity with immediate start and great potential for extension. This is a short-term contract role to support testing. You'll be working onsite with the finance and IT teams, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. You’ll play a key role in identifying and escalating any issues during the SAP testing phase.
Onsite – Toronto, ON |Contract | $28/hr (Pay Rate)
35 hours/week | Starts ASAP – Ends October (Possible Extension)
Responsibilities:
Participate in low-risk testing of the new SAP B1 financial system
Focus exclusively on payables and billing modules
Log and report concerns or issues to the consulting team
Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to support system validation
Attend daily onsite operations from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Requirements:
Experience with SAP B1 (Business One) or similar financial systems
General accounting or finance experience, particularly in AP/Billing
Highly tech-savvy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn quickly (training provided – up to 1 week)
Previous experience with financial system implementations is a strong asset
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable working onsite, 5 days/week
Criminal background check and references will be required
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven analytical thinker with a passion for accuracy and detail
Background in both IT and Finance is highly desirable
Adaptable and able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
Experience with integrated systems such as CargoWise or MS Dynamics CRM is a bonus
