We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support two executives in a crown corporation environment, supporting Indigenous business advancement. This role is a cornerstone of the executive office, the “glue” that ensures smooth operations and effective coordination across the leadership team.

The EA will handle executive-level administration, manage high-stakes scheduling and communications, prepare critical briefing materials, and coordinate key meetings with government, Indigenous, and corporate partners. This is a unique opportunity for a career-minded EA to step into a highly visible role with national impact.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential executive support to senior leaders, including calendar management, travel planning, and correspondence.
  • Prepare executive briefings, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate logistics and materials for meetings and events, ensuring a high level of professionalism.
  • Track and manage action items, deadlines, and follow-ups across multiple executive priorities.
  • Serve as a liaison between executives, staff, and external partners, exercising discretion and judgment.
  • Contribute to the cohesion of the executive office, supporting smooth communication and collaboration.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience providing executive-level administrative support.
  • Background in a Crown corporation, public sector, or regulated environment considered a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex scheduling, multiple priorities, and high-volume communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • High level of discretion, judgment, and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); comfort with digital collaboration tools.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Professional presence with the ability to represent executives to senior stakeholders.
