Job Title: Brand Manager

Our leading CPG client is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Brand Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-paced team, playing a key role in driving brand growth, innovation, and consumer engagement across the Canadian market.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of annual business and marketing strategies that align with long-term goals, core brand positioning, and a focus on driving innovation.
- Manage day-to-day decision-making related to approved marketing strategies and plans.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Customer Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, Finance, Market Research, etc.) to deliver innovative new product launches and customer marketing programs.
- Work with agencies and vendors to develop packaging and consumer communication strategies.
- Conduct business analyses to provide insights and recommendations on growth drivers, challenges, opportunities, and areas for innovation.
- Manage budgets for allocated brands, ensuring efficient resource use and alignment with approved spending.
- Collaborate with U.S. and global partners to support innovation, communication, and best practices.
- Monitor business performance (P&L, mix analysis, reporting, retail performance, competitive landscape) to recommend and implement short- and long-term initiatives that fuel growth and innovation.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including global teams, customer planning, supply chain, and agency partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of marketing or brand management experience.
- Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry is required.
- Proficiency in AC Nielsen is required.
- Strong expertise in consumer insights, innovation, brand strategy, and marketing execution.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
