We are seeking a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher to join our clients team on a temporary 3-month contract, hybrid in Mississauga.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing full container load (FCL) trucking activities across Canada and cross-border with the U.S. You will work closely with warehouses, trucking partners, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth operations, accurate tracking, and timely communication.
What You’ll Do
Manage day-to-day case handling, including tracking, tracing, and updating shipment status
Support customer and vendor onboarding, maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders
Coordinate with trucking companies and warehouses to ensure seamless operations
Handle domestic Canadian loads and U.S.–Canada cross-border shipments
Utilize logistics systems, Excel, and Power BI dashboards to monitor and report performance
Work with TMS platforms such as CargoWise and SAP Suite
Ensure timely responses to customer and internal inquiries via email and phone
Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
Experience in the trucking industry, specifically with FCL, cross-border, and domestic Canada shipments
Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams
System-savvy, comfortable working with logistics platforms and data tools (Excel, Power BI, TMS, SAP, CargoWise)
Ability to work independently, handle multiple cases simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
