Our legal client is seeking an experienced Legal Application Support Analyst to provide ongoing support and maintenance of their financial systems. This position is suited for someone with strong technical skills, proven experience in enterprise applications, and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal stakeholders and external vendors. The analyst will serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring our financial applications are reliable, secure, and continuously improved.
This is a permanent role with a hybrid working model in Toronto.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support financial applications including Intapp Time, ARCS, and act as backup for Elite 3E.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and system issues while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Partner with Finance leadership to understand business needs and recommend solutions.
Work with vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Participate in solution design, system enhancements, and application integration discussions.
Maintain test and production environments, including patching and upgrade testing.
Collaborate with IT teams to perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
Provide best practice guidance on performance, scalability, reliability, and security of financial systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of application support experience, preferably in financial/legal systems.
Hands-on experience with Intapp Time, ARCS, and Elite 3E nice to have.
Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting, reporting, and data analysis.
Experience in report writing, data analysis, and gathering business requirements.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
Background in Finance or experience supporting financial applications in a law firm or bank is preferred.
Knowledge of scripting languages is an asset.
