Join our team as the Lead (Director level) of Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) and lead the charge in transforming our customer identity and access management landscape. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape and implement strategic initiatives that enhance security, scalability, and efficiency across our CIAM platform. With your deep expertise in IBM Verify, ISAM, ISDI/TDI, and ISDS/TDS, you will drive innovation and excellence in identity management, ensuring our systems are optimized and future-ready.
Reporting to the Head of Solution Delivery, you will play a critical role in advancing our CIAM initiatives, enhancing security, and supporting business growth. Your leadership will ensure the successful implementation of identity solutions that protect customer data and build trust.
Office location: Boston - USA (ideally) or Toronto - Canada
Work arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days from home); Working remotely option is not available.
Position Responsibilities:
Set strategic direction for the CIAM capability, driving innovation and alignment across enterprise and cloud security domains.
Architect and implement secure, scalable IAM design patterns and reference architectures for authentication and authorization.
Ensure the CIAM platform is performant, scalable, and optimized to meet business needs.
Manage and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Oversee stakeholder management, delivery, availability and collaboration with vendors, procurement, and finance.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of deep experience in Identity and Access Management, with specialization in IBM Verify, ISAM, ISDI/TDI, and ISDS/TDS.
Must have experience in Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM)
Proven expertise in platform architecture, ensuring scalability and optimization.
Strong leadership skills with experience in people management and team mentorship.
Excellent stakeholder management and delivery management capabilities.
Experience working with vendors, procurement, and finance to drive successful outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry experience from large complex environment is desired but not a must have
