  • Key details:
    Work model & location: Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite (in Toronto or Ottawa)
    Contract term: October 6, 2025 – March 31, 2026, with a possible extension

    Our client in the healthcare analytics industry is seeking a Senior AWS QuickSight Developer to design, develop, and deploy accessible, bilingual BI applications and dashboards. You will work with large-scale data models, integrate with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Athena), and embed BI applications into Drupal-based websites.

    This role also involves building applications using AI features in AWS QuickSight, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and bilingual requirements (English/French).

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • 4+ years of Business Intelligence (BI) development using AWS QuickSight (dashboards, visualizations, functions).

    • 3+ years with QuickSight data asset management (joins, filters, calculated fields, SPICE optimization).

    • 3+ years developing embedded QuickSight apps in websites (Drupal, HTML).

    • 2+ years using AWS QuickSight Q for natural language querying.

    • 3+ years with QuickSight Management Console (user/group management, RLS security).

    • 3+ years developing AODA (WCAG 2.0) compliant and multilingual (Eng/FR) QuickSight apps.

    • 3+ years integrating AWS data sources (Redshift, S3, Athena, Oracle 12c) and SQL performance tuning.

    • 1+ year experience automating QuickSight with AWS CLI / SDK.

    • Strong experience coaching and training internal BI teams.

    Nice-to-Have

    • Experience implementing custom visualizations and widgets with third-party libraries.

    • Experience with QuickSight stories and AI-powered data refinement.
