We are seeking a results-driven
Financial Controller to lead the North America finance function for our client in the business consulting sector. This role will partner with senior leadership to provide strategic insights that support growth and operational goals.
The Financial Controller will also work closely with project leaders to ensure disciplined financial management, strong working capital oversight, and alignment between commercial decisions and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee project-level financials, ensuring profitability, working capital discipline, and risk management.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and timely reporting for North America.
- Develop dashboards and metrics to give leadership clear visibility into performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
- Drive process and system improvements in collaboration with global finance teams.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications- CPA, CA, CMA US, or equivalent designation
- 7+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years in team management
- Cross-border experience in the US and Canada preferred
- Familiarity with Power BI is a strong asset
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with non-financial stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
