We are seeking the services of a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to the enhancement of an existing microservice-based .NET system with a modern React + Node.js front end, deployed in Azure. This role will focus on delivering new functionality for client-facing services while also supporting expansion of the system into new areas.
Location: Toronto downtown (Hybrid: 2-3 days a weeks on-site)
Hours: Mon - Fri (7.25 per day / 36.25 hours a week)
Pay rates: $85 - 95/HR
Duration: 12 months to start (possible extension)
Mandatory skills: .NET, C#, React.JS, Node.JS, Azure cloud
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance features in a microservice-based .NET system.
- Work with React and Node.js to expand front-end functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Contribute to solution architecture discussions and best practices.
- Implement infrastructure as code in Azure using Terraform.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure the reliability of services deployed in the cloud.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Proven experience working with microservice-based architectures.
- Strong background in .NET development.
- Front-end development experience with React and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in an Azure cloud environment.
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with a focus on Terraform.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with performance tuning and cloud cost optimization.
