Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a full-time Physician with a minimum of 6 months within the last 2 years of cumulative clinical experience to provide onsite and on call services to our federal client in Dorchester, NB. 

TASKS

• The Physician must provide integrated, trauma informed, culturally appropriate Primary Care health services to patients.
• The Physician will collaborate with the Project Authority, the Health Services Team and Staff to promote interdisciplinary teamwork and ensure safe, effective and efficient operation of clinics to attain quality standards and goals.
• The Physician must visit, or collaborate with the attending physician, when patients are admitted to the Regional Hospitals (akin to regional continuing care centres) as frequently as required according to their acuity level or as requested by the Project Authority. 

• The Physician must document all patient encounters in the EMR/EHR, including, but not limited to: all progress notes, all assessment, treatments and consultations.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Physician must possess:

• A current license in good standing from the provincial licensing body for physicians and surgeons in the province where services are to be provided.
• Aa minimum of six (6) months experience in providing primary care in the last two (2) years prior to the closing date of this solicitation.
• Experience in provided  care in a community facility, or correctional facility, or within a regional health authority, hospital or other applicable health care organization or centres.
• Ability to provide care in both French and English.
