Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative to join one of our clients. This role combines the fast-paced responsibilities of dispatching with hands-on customer service, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the scheduling, pickup, delivery, and tracking of freight shipments.
Keep clients informed about shipment details, timing, and special handling requirements.
Provide support to clients and vendors via email while overseeing client accounts.
Address customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
Prepare necessary shipping documents such as bills of lading, carrier confirmations, customs forms, and invoices.
Enter and update orders in the transportation management system.
Monitor shipments and update statuses to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
Track shipments to ensure they reach their destination on time.
Negotiate pricing and delivery timelines with carriers.
- Identify and onboard new carriers while expanding the partner network.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in the industry is preferred.
- Experience in both Customer Service and Administration
Self-driven and capable of working independently.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
