Change Manager
Location: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week (flexible days)
Contract: 1-year term (with potential extension)
Hours: 7 hours/day
About the Role
Our municipal client is seeking an Intermediate Change Manager to lead change management efforts across multiple IT initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to drive adoption, minimize resistance, and ensure projects deliver their intended business value. This role is key to ensuring a smooth transition for users and sustained benefits realization.
This will be a hybrid role, 2 days a week in Brampton.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute change management strategies, plans, and schedules for assigned IT projects.
Lead activities related to communication, training, stakeholder engagement, and readiness assessments.
Collaborate with project managers and IT teams to support business transformation objectives.
Drive stakeholder analysis and champion involvement to build organizational alignment and adoption.

You will provide change management leadership for a variety of IT initiatives, including but not limited to:
Business Application Repository modernization
DomDoc to SharePoint migration
Salesforce Shield implementation
GeoWare Weigh Scale System upgrade/replacement
Grievance Tracking System rollout
Intelex Information Management tool deployment
SAP post-implementation hypercare
ServiceNow ITSM implementation
iPaaS (MuleSoft) implementation
Microsoft Co-Pilot implementation & normalization
Council Chambers technology upgrades
Microsoft AI and ServiceNow AI investigations & implementations
EAM/Maximo Phases 2 & 3 implementations
Public Works Capital Project Management tool implementation
Expected Deliverables
For each assigned project, you will produce:
Comprehensive change management strategy and schedule
Stakeholder identification and impact assessments
Communication and training plans
Readiness assessments
Leadership and champion engagement plans
Qualifications
5+ years of experience leading change management on medium-to-large IT projects
Proven ability to deliver end-to-end change management strategies and frameworks
Experience with both agile and traditional project environments
Strong background in stakeholder engagement, impact analysis, and benefits realization
Mandatory Certifications/Education
Certified Change Management Professional® (CCMP®) and/or
Prosci Change Management Certification (PROSCI)
(Proof of certification required with application. Candidates without one of these will not be considered.)
Post-secondary education in computer science, business, information management, or related field
Project management education or certification (PMP or equivalent) nice to have
