Our client in the healthcare industry is hiring a Mobile Medical Unit Driver to drive physicians across Toronto as they deliver care directly to patients.
This role involves safely operating a large medical van to transport physicians to and from patient appointments, while ensuring the vehicle is clean, maintained, and fully operational. The driver will be handling physician's transportations, daily inspections, and communication with the clinical team.
Location: Toronto, ON (on-site, field-based role)
Schedule/hours: Typically Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on patient schedules
Work type: Full-time, permanent

Responsibilities
Safely transport physicians to and from scheduled patient appointments across the city
Drive and navigate efficiently in urban traffic conditions to ensure timely arrivals
Communicate and coordinate with the physician and clinical operations team throughout the day
Perform daily vehicle checks (fuel, battery, fluids, tire pressure) and report any issues promptly
Oversee vehicle cleanliness, organization, and readiness
Coordinate and schedule regular vehicle servicing and inspections
Keep accurate logs of mileage, fuel, service, and any incidents
Ensure secure overnight parking at the designated office location
Requirements
Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to provide a driver’s abstract
Clear criminal background check
3+ years of professional driving experience in one of the following:
Patient transport (e.g., ambulance or non-emergency medical transport)
Courier/delivery services
Professional driving roles with larger vehicles (e.g., Sprinter van or similar size)
Experience handling city driving, parking, and navigating traffic in Toronto
Experience operating and maneuvering a larger vehicle
Strong time management and reliability
Professional communication skills
Ability to monitor and report minor maintenance needs
Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
