Scotiabank is seeking an experienced Director to lead our enterprise-wide talent strategy. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of work at Scotiabank, driving initiatives across leadership enablement, performance, inclusion, culture, learning, and skills transformation. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and collaborate across HR and enterprise functions to ensure Scotiabank remains a top employer globally.
The Director, Global Talent Strategy plays a crucial role in shaping and executing the enterprise-wide talent strategy at Scotiabank. Reporting to the Vice President, Culture & Performance, this role leads high-impact initiatives across leadership enablement, performance, inclusion, culture, learning, and future skills—ensuring the organization is well-positioned to attract, develop, and retain the talent it needs to succeed in a dynamic, global environment. This role will lead a team of 3 direct reports and partners closely with the SVP of Talent Strategy and senior leadership team. Additionally, this role serves as a strategic advisor on the future of work, workforce planning, and talent technology innovation, and plays a pivotal role in the operational and governance functions of the broader HR team.
