Our established CPG client is seeking a Commercialization Project Manager to join their high-performing team. The Commercialization Project Manager will play a key role in overseeing the full product lifecycle—from initial concept to launch, recipe and packaging changes, and product discontinuations. This role requires strong project management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive successful product execution in alignment with customer and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for product initiatives, coordinating with customers and cross-functional teams, including operations, quality, sourcing, and planning.
- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables to meet both client and facility requirements.
- Organize and facilitate regular meetings to update customers, management, and internal stakeholders on project status.
- Manage system setup for onboarding new customers and vendors, including bill of materials, finished goods, and product specifications; ensure accuracy and alignment with quality documentation.
- Oversee pre- and post-approval processes for trials and product launches, ensuring documents and processes are accurate, consistent, and scalable for ongoing production.
- Proactively identify risks, troubleshoot challenges, and develop sustainable solutions to ensure project success.
- Take ownership of product delivery and lifecycle performance, ensuring smooth transitions across all stages of commercialization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Economics or a related field.
- Proven experience in product management, brand management, or project management within the consumer goods, retail, manufacturing or related industries.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in dynamic environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.
