Overview:
Our client, a global leader in high-performance insulation solutions, is seeking a Market Development Associate to join their dynamic team. This remote role is ideal for a motivated professional with a background in energy sales, marketing, or engineering who’s eager to drive business growth in industrial markets such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Heavy Industry.
In this position, you'll play a key role in supporting go-to-market strategies by driving product awareness, developing market opportunities, and engaging with customers and key industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with sales and technical teams to support business development efforts across targeted industrial sectors.
Assist in promoting product specifications to engineers, asset owners, and other decision-makers to generate demand.
Contribute to project management activities throughout various sales stages in conjunction with territory managers.
Support and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions for customers and industry partners.
Provide initial technical support, and coordinate with the technical team for more advanced inquiries.
Collect and report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to inform strategy and product development.
Assist with the launch of new products and execution of marketing campaigns.
Maintain CRM data and support internal reporting processes.
Attend customer meetings, conduct site visits, and participate in field demonstrations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Comfort working with technical content and the ability to read mechanical drawings is an asset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is preferred.
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.
