We are seeking an experienced Windows Support Engineer to join our clients team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in hybrid environments, has a strong foundation in Windows Server administration, and enjoys contributing to the stability, performance, and modernization of enterprise systems. You will work closely with platform teams, application owners, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and high-quality support.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, maintain, and upgrade Windows server environments (on-premises and cloud).
Provide level 2 technical support, troubleshooting, and operational improvements.
Support internal teams through a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Maintain and enhance performance and capacity monitoring for critical servers.
Create and maintain documentation including SOPs, diagrams, and knowledge transfer materials.
Recommend and implement improvements for efficiency, automation, and compliance.
Participate in on-call rotation (every 5–7 weeks), with occasional non-standard business hours.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years supporting critical applications in a hybrid environment.
2+ years working with Windows Server systems (2008–2019), including Group Policies and SCCM.
2+ years in performance/capacity monitoring for critical servers.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Azure, etc.).
Strong scripting abilities with PowerShell, Ansible Playbooks, or Python.
Experience developing automation scripts, orchestration, and deployment processes.
Proven ability to support multi-tier, large-scale production environments.
