Analyst, Roynat Capital - Canadian Commercial Banking - Waterloo OR London locations
The Analyst is responsible for managing a small client portfolio and assisting our high performing sales force with business development initiatives. The incumbent requires a thorough understanding of interpreting financial statements during the underwriting process and conduct client interfacing due diligence in writing credit deals.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
Meet performance objectives and ensure progress is made towards maximizing the potential business from existing clients and prospects within an assigned market area.
Manage and control assigned loan portfolio to ensure it is at an acceptable level of risk and generates an appropriate return.
Building sales skills and a portfolio of clients:
Contributing to District Office productivity and self-development as well Operational Excellence of the District Office.
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk.
