Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor with strong expertise in IT architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, and cloud security. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects, ensuring compliance with Canadian regulatory requirements while strengthening enterprise cybersecurity resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement cybersecurity architecture aligned with industry standards and business needs.
• Provide strategic guidance on cloud security and identity & access management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver secure IT solutions.
• Act as Product Owner or squad member on IT/cybersecurity initiatives.
• Assess risks and threats using NIST and MITRE ATT&CK and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian regulatory frameworks (OSFI B-13, etc.).

Must Haves

• 5+ years in IT architecture & cybersecurity.
• Fully bilingual in English & French.
• Proven expertise in cloud security architecture and identity & access management.
• Minimum 5 years in financial or banking sector IT environments.
• Deep understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK threat modeling and mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
