We are seeking a sophisticated relationship builder to act as a key ambassador for the organization. As the Manager, Corporate & Executive Membership, you will be responsible for the stewardship and growth of the corporate member portfolio. Your mission is to identify, cultivate, and engage leading Canadian organizations, demonstrating the immense value of joining this exclusive community of C-suite executives and board members.
This role is ideal for a professional with a background in university advancement, alumni relations, or major gift fundraising who is looking to apply their skills in a dynamic, high-impact corporate environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Outreach & Community Growth: You will develop and execute a sophisticated engagement strategy to attract leading Canadian organizations. You’ll build and steward a pipeline of prospective corporate partners, achieving strategic growth objectives by connecting their needs to the organization’s unique value proposition.
Executive Relationship Stewardship: You will be the primary point of contact for senior executives and board members at prospective and new member organizations. Your focus will be on building authentic, long-term partnerships founded on trust and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing today's leaders.
Member Integration & Value Realization: You will design and deliver a premium onboarding experience, ensuring new corporate members are seamlessly welcomed into the community. You will act as a guide, connecting them with the resources, events, and peer networks that will maximize the value of their affiliation.
Data-Informed Strategy & Reporting: You will leverage market analysis and your own insights to identify new opportunities for growth. You will track key engagement metrics and prepare insightful reports for leadership that highlight progress and inform future strategy.
Who You Are
You have 5+ years of experience building and stewarding relationships with senior executives, high-net-worth individuals, or influential community leaders.
Direct experience in university advancement, alumni relations, major gift fundraising, or executive search is a significant asset.
You have a proven track record in strategic outreach, business development, or membership growth in a sophisticated, relationship-driven environment.
You possess an innate curiosity and a keen understanding of corporate structures, governance, or the dynamics of a boardroom.
Your communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills are exceptional; you are comfortable and credible in any C-suite conversation.
You are a strategic thinker who can translate market trends into actionable outreach initiatives.
You are highly organized, adaptable, and skilled at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
