Purpose:
Contributes to the overall success of ScotiaWorks in Toronto, Ontario ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Manages a ScotiaWorks space under a customer experience lens. We have residents, visitors and partners and they’re all so special to us!
• Office and inventory management – ensuring the office is clean, stocked and fully functional – arranging cleaning, stocking fridge and supply cabinets, ensuring appliances and technical equipment is in great working order, liaising with the property management, suppliers, etc.
• Project support – You will work closely with Operations team members and partners, leading a variety of projects and providing support as needed
• Budget Management - Managing the facilities budget and managing expenses against it.
• Relationship building – you will build and maintain great working relationships with suppliers, customers, visitors and colleagues
• Event and Venue Coordination – you will be the main point of contact for internal and partner meetings, tours and events including scheduling, meeting room/venue booking, catering, printing materials, preparing templates as required, packing of the supplies, ensuring necessary AV solutions are in place, staffing, etc.
• Online and offline research – this could include everything from researching/sourcing products and best practices for team meetings and small project management - You may lead ad-hoc projects as they arise events
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
