Bilingual Account Resolution Specialist
Location: On-site | Mississauga, ON (with transition period in Aurora)
We are currently seeking a bilingual Account Resolution Specialist to join our client’s team in the commercial financial services industry. This is a full-time, on-site role with an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team during a time of transition and growth. The position will initially require some presence in both Aurora and Mississauga, with the client in the process of fully relocating operations to Mississauga.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about customer service, commercial finance, and asset lifecycle management. You’ll be joining a dynamic and collaborative team that plays a crucial role in supporting dealers and customers across the Truck, Construction Equipment, and Coach financing portfolios.
As a bilingual Account Resolution Specialist, you will oversee various aspects of retail account management and resolution, providing essential support throughout the customer journey. This role involves working closely with internal departments such as credit, sales, remarketing, legal, and accounting to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted point of contact for customers and dealers, handling inquiries related to lease assumptions, loan takeovers, account reconciliations, and documentation.
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, proactively addressing delinquency and insurance compliance issues.
Investigate causes of default or delinquency, negotiate repayment plans, and, when necessary, coordinate asset recovery or modifications.
Administer insurance compliance processes, including certificate tracking and follow-ups.
Provide accurate documentation such as payout quotes, audit balance confirmations, and amortization schedules.
Escalate unresolved issues appropriately and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely solutions.
Display professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment in all customer interactions.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience in financial services.
3–5 years’ experience in asset account management, collections, commercial banking, equipment leasing, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word).
Bilingual in English and French is required.
