We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Software Developer to help shape, build, and enhance our suite of software applications. In this role, you’ll combine creative problem-solving with strong technical skills to drive innovation in user experience, application architecture, coding standards, and development best practices. You’ll also mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise to help them grow.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to key technical decisions and influence the direction of our software products.
• Design, develop, and maintain software for a variety of projects, delivering high-quality solutions on time.
• Produce polished, creative, and professional software applications.
• Work as part of an Agile team, following Agile methodologies to ensure efficiency and product quality.
• Perform debugging, code maintenance, reviews, and testing to ensure robustness.
• Provide escalated support, analyzing and resolving customer issues when required.
• Create clear and concise technical documentation.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience in real-world application development).
• 7+ years of professional web-based programming experience (Web Services, SaaS, e-commerce platforms, cloud solutions).
• Strong knowledge of: Python, C++, C#, ASP.NET Web API, React, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, HTTP, JSON, JQuery, JavaScript, REST.
• Solid understanding of current web design trends and techniques.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions.
• Proven experience conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
• Team-oriented mindset with effective conflict management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload and collaborate effectively.
• Balanced, thoughtful approach to problem-solving.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes.
• Geoscience background, especially in software applications.
• Interest or skills in mathematics.
