As a Senior Regulatory Excellence Officer, you’ll be at the forefront of government transformation—streamlining processes, shaping impactful legislation, and collaborating with stakeholders to remove barriers to growth. As a Senior Regulatory Excellence Officer, you will lead and implement cross-government initiatives that support Alberta’s Red Tape Reduction (RTR) mandate. You’ll provide expert analysis, policy development, and stakeholder engagement to advance regulatory excellence and ensure the province meets its commitment to reduce unnecessary regulatory burden. Your work will directly support the Minister of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction, contributing to high-impact legislative and strategic outcomes.

This is for a temporary one year position with the possibility of extension.
A written assignment may be part of the recruitment process.
This position is located at South Petroleum Plaza Building, 9915 - 108 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
Hours of work: 7.25 hours per day / 36.25 hours per week (Monday – Friday).
Final candidates may be required to undergo a security screening. Any costs associated with obtaining the required documents/checks as noted or interview travel expenses, will be the responsibility of the candidate. Out-of-province applicants can obtain the required documents/checks from the province they currently reside in.
