Job Title: IT Support Specialist (Contract – 2 Months)
Location: Onsite- 451 Smyth, 600/850 Peter Morand
Schedule: 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Contract Duration: 2 months
Job Summary:
Our leading education client seeking a bilingual IT Support Specialist to provide technical advice and support services to end users within a designated Faculty or Service. The successful candidate will assist with infrastructure, hardware, software, peripherals, and other IT equipment, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery. They will also offer recommendations to support future IT planning and resource development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide deskside support to end users, responding promptly to service requests.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
Conduct Windows upgrades and maintain Windows 10/11 environments.
Provide support for Apple devices (MacBooks, iPhones) and optionally Android devices.
Ensure all support is delivered according to established customer service standards.
Offer recommendations for future IT infrastructure planning and development.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bilingual (English/French) and available to work onsite full-time.
Minimum of 3 -5 years of deskside support experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 - Windows upgrade experience a MUST
Experience troubleshooting Apple devices and optionally Android phones.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
