Job Title: IT Support Specialist (Contract – 2 Months)
Location: Onsite- 451 Smyth, 600/850 Peter Morand
Schedule: 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Contract Duration: 2 months

Job Summary:
Our leading education client seeking a bilingual IT Support Specialist to provide technical advice and support services to end users within a designated Faculty or Service. The successful candidate will assist with infrastructure, hardware, software, peripherals, and other IT equipment, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery. They will also offer recommendations to support future IT planning and resource development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide deskside support to end users, responding promptly to service requests.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues.

  • Conduct Windows upgrades and maintain Windows 10/11 environments.

  • Provide support for Apple devices (MacBooks, iPhones) and optionally Android devices.

  • Ensure all support is delivered according to established customer service standards.

  • Offer recommendations for future IT infrastructure planning and development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English/French) and available to work onsite full-time.

  • Minimum of 3 -5 years of deskside support experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 - Windows upgrade experience a MUST

  • Experience troubleshooting Apple devices and optionally Android phones.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
