Our client is seeking a Brand Studio Stylist to execute on-set and off-set e-commerce styling in alignment with art direction guidelines. This role is an integral part of the Brand Studio Creative team, working closely with the Senior Art Director, Studio Visuals to ensure styling is executed authentically and consistently with the brand vision.
Based out of the company’s photo studio in North Vancouver, this position is primarily performed on location. This is a 12-month contract opportunity. Candidates must be elligible to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and outfit e-commerce shoot racks in accordance with activity guidelines.
- Execute on-set styling for e-commerce shoots.
- Support with final image selections during shoots.
- Communicate with Assistant Stylists to coordinate support needs.
- Manage the seasonal prop library.
- Assist the Senior Studio Stylist with all e-commerce styling requirements.
- Create e-commerce shot lists according to the production schedule.
- Support talent selection and maintain the talent roster.
- Track shot list and outfitting details in the production management system.
- Assist in talent castings.
- Perform other in-studio tasks as required.
- Contribute to the development of e-commerce styling guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Senior Art Director, Studio Visuals to evolve activity-specific styling.
- Provide styling support for in-studio campaign projects.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in editorial or e-commerce styling.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at balancing creative vision with high output demands.
- College or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of and experience in outdoor activities such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and climbing is an asset.
- Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous creative growth.
- Previous experience in high-volume, fast-paced production environments is an asset.
- Flexible and adaptable when working in situations of ambiguity or change.
