Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team as a senior structurer. Structured Products Group sits within Global Fixed Income and is responsible for non-vanilla trading with a primary focus on structured credit. Products include credit total return swaps, synthetic risk transfer and structured finance (including CLO warehousing).

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Structure and negotiate asset warehouses, lending facilities and credit derivatives, working closely with external counsel, rating agencies as well as internal legal, risk and credit teams.
  • Manage day-to-day activity arising from the group’s trades and deals.
  • Idea generation and product development.
  • Leading deals through the internal credit adjudication process.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3 to 5+ years corporate transactional experience from a leading law firm
  • Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Law degree
  • A focus on lending, derivatives and/or securitization practice areas preferred, but not required
  • Well qualified candidates should have a successful track record of working on transactions and experience in developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Strong transactional skills with the ability to lead complex transactions from idea generation to successful closing
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Well organized and detail oriented with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Creative, and strategic thinker with a client-focused mindset who can identify and analyze potential opportunities in a dynamic market environment
  • Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines while collaborating within a team and across organizational boundaries

Work Arrangement:

This position is currently an onsite role, with the expectation that you will work 4-5 days a week in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
