Our public sector client is seeking an accomplished Senior SAP Quality Assurance Lead/Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering high-profile SAP projects. This is a leadership position requiring deep SAP expertise, proven delivery in complex project environments, and exceptional stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of testing professionals, ensuring test planning, delivery, execution, and continuous process improvement meet established frameworks.
  • Proactively engage with project teams, vendors, and IT stakeholders to deliver all phases of testing.
  • Develop and review project Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Entry/Exit criteria.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of testing plans aligned with the selected SDLC methodology.
  • Lead FSM testing efforts across multiple releases, ensuring traceability from business requirements to test outcomes.
  • Act as the primary liaison for user acceptance testing, supporting both manual and automated test execution.
  • Monitor testing progress, assess risks, and manage defect processes to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide regular status reporting with quality metrics, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, strategies, and tools.
  • Coach and guide team members on policies, procedures, and best practices.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an SAP Quality Assurance Lead/Manager or similar role.
  • Minimum 10 years in an SAP project environment, with 5+ full project implementations successfully delivered.
  • Expert knowledge of business processes in Supply Chain, Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Retail, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) considered an asset.
  • Proven expertise in Test Management Tools (Jira experience an asset).
