Our client is supporting a major Data Access Management (DAM) program designed to deliver enterprise-wide capabilities in data discovery, classification, ownership, and access management. This initiative will provide a unified, secure, and efficient approach to managing sensitive data. We are seeking a Data Access Operations Analyst to support ongoing DAM service operations and access remediation efforts.
Role Overview
As part of the Logical and Access Governance Operations team, the Data Access Operations Analyst will be the first point of contact for DAM-related incidents, availability issues, and operational requests. The role involves monitoring and maintaining DAM tools (including Securiti.ai), triaging data access findings, and ensuring compliance with access governance policies.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor DAM tool health checks, system availability, and associated integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2 tickets related to DAM services, escalating to engineering teams as required.
Manage exceptions to standard data access policies, including emergency access provisions.
Support onboarding of new data sources to the DAM platform.
Analyze and interpret data discovery results to identify access policy issues.
Track, triage, and engage stakeholders on data access findings generated by the DAM tool.
Create and execute periodic Data Access Certification processes to review access privileges for sensitive data.
Remediate certification recommendations following established workflows.
Support audit activities by providing timely evidence and documentation.
Participate in data owner identification and maintenance processes.
Identify and analyze trends in access issues, providing insights to improve processes.
Deliver regular updates to stakeholders on incidents, metrics, timelines, and progress.
Ensure adherence to operational SLAs, processes, and IAM standards.
Provide feedback to enhance DAM operations and service delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–3 years’ experience supporting Data Access Management tools (e.g., BigID, Varonis, Securiti, OneTrust, Collibra, Snowflake).
3–4 years’ ITSM technology support experience.
Experience in the financial services industry is an asset.
Strong understanding of data access policies, standards, classification, and remediation practices.
Familiarity with unstructured data sources such as File Shares, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess risks related to data access.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to meet deadlines.
Comfortable working in dynamic environments with evolving priorities.
